Qingdao Xinyuan Wins Bid for Underground Crushing System Equipment at New Liberty Gold Mine

    Recently, the company successfully won the bid for two bar feeders and two jaw crushers for the 3 million metric tons per year underground crushing system project at the New Liberty Gold Mine in Liberia.

    Located in Grand Cape Mount County, Liberia, this project represents the country’s first and largest commercial gold mine. The mine shaft is 1,000 meters deep with a diameter of 7 meters; current mining operations are at a depth of approximately 400 meters. With an annual production capacity of 3 million tons, the project requires the construction and installation of a 1,000-meter-deep vertical shaft hoisting system and an associated crushing and loading system capable of handling 3 million tons per year.
